▽“Independence Day”
“Independence Day” on July 4th is an important holiday for Americans. In July of 1776, America’s leaders came together to write a document officially declaring themselves an independent country. Before this, America was ruled by England. Now America could have their own government and their own rules. So, July 4th became known as “America’s birthday.”
Nowadays, it is a day where people celebrate with family and friends. There are fireworks, festivals, and events.
Many people have barbecues, parties, and do summer activities. They cook American food and decorate with the colors red, white, and blue.
To many Americans, this day represents freedom!

7月4日の独立記念日は、アメリカ人にとって大切な祝日です。1776年7月、アメリカの指導者たちが集まり、自分たちが独立国であることを公式に宣言する文書を書きました。それ以前は、アメリカはイギリスに支配されていました。これでアメリカは自分たちの政府を持ち、自分たちのルールを持つことができるようになりました。それで、7月4日はアメリカの誕生日として知られるようになりました。
