こんにちは、アンソニーです!メリークリスマス、そしてあけましておめでとうございます!
私はオーストラリアからこの記事を書いています。クリスマスと新年を家族や友人と過ごすために2週間ほど帰国しています。
皆さんは楽しいクリスマスを過ごされましたか?クリスマスは私の家族にとって大切な時で、いつもみんなで集まってランチを食べたり、プレゼントを交換したりします。私の家族の祖先はクロアチア出身なので、クリスマスにはヨーロッパスタイルのランチを食べます。
今年はラザニア、カラマリ(イカリング)、ローストポテト、サラダ、セバピ(ヨーロッパ風ソーセージ)を食べました。どれもとても美味しかった!私はいつもデザート作りを手伝います。今年はキャラメルシュークリームとハニカム(オーストラリアのお菓子の一種)を作りました。
日本ではクリスマスや大晦日の祝い方がオーストラリアと違うということを知っています。
様々な国や地域の文化についてとても興味がありますので、もし街で私を見かけたら、大晦日に何をしたのか教えてください。今年もよろしくお願いします。

Hello everyone it’s Anthony! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!I’m writing this article from Australia. I have returned home for two weeks to spend Christmas and NewYears with my family and friends. Did you all have a nice Christmas? Christmas is an important time formy family we always come together to have lunch and share gifts. Because my family ancestors camefrom Croatia we eat an European style lunch at Christmas. This year we had lasagna, calamari, roastpotatoes, salad and cevapi (an European style sausage). It was all very delicious! I always help makedesserts. This year I made caramel choux cream and honeycomb (a type of Australia candy). I know thatin Japan, you celebrate Christmas and New Years Eve differently than Australia. If you see me aroundtown please come tell me what you did for New Years Eve. I love hearing about other cultures.
