新しいALTピーター先生のご紹介

新しいALT(外国語指導助手)として「ピーター先生」が着任しました。ピーター先生は、中学校と高校の英語学習をサポートします!なお、幼稚園と小学校には引き続きブライアン先生が訪問します!

■ピーター先生からのメッセージ
Hello everyone, my name is Peter O’Flynn. I have just moved to Rausu from Ireland to be the new ALT at
Rausu’s Senior and Junior High Schools. I want to thank everyone I have met so far for their very warm welcome to the beautiful town of Rausu.
Since arriving in Rausu I have visited Nakashibetsu for the Summer Festival and also attended the Costume Bon Odori Festival here in Rausu. I am excited for more festivals, events, and opportunities to meet the people of Rausu.
If you ever see me and would like to practice your English, please don’t hesitate to start a conversation. Some of my hobbies include badminton,skiing, music, and Japanese anime； maybe we have something in common.
I will also work hard to improve my Japanese while I am here and hopefully we can have good conversations soon.
I look forward to meeting all of you!

みなさんこんにちは。私の名前はオフリン・ピーターです。アイルランドから羅臼へ、羅臼の中学校と高校の新しいALTとなるためにきました。これまでお会いしたみなさんの、羅臼という美しい町への温かい歓迎に感謝いたします。
羅臼に来てから、中標津の夏祭りや、羅臼の仮装盆踊りに参加しました。これからもお祭りやイベント、そして羅臼の人々と触れ合う機会が増えることを楽しみにしています。私に会ったり、英語を練習したいと思ったら、遠慮せずに話しかけてください。私の趣味には、バドミントン、スキー、音楽、日本のアニメなどがあります。もしかしたら私たちには何か共通点があるかもしれません。
私もここにいる間、日本語を上達させるために一生懸命努力して、早く上手に会話ができるようになりたいです。

中学校と高校の英語学習をサポートしてくれていたウィリアム先生は7月31日に任期を終え、アメリカに帰国されました。3年間、ありがとうございました!
