◇Assistance for Educational Expenses
Ageo City partially covers necessary educational expenses, such as expenses for school supplies and school lunches, for parents or guardians of children in elementary and/or junior high schools who fi nd it difficult to send their children to schools for financial reasons (A review will be conducted based on last year’s income). If you have just moved into Ageo or you have come to need assistance because your financial status changed, you may apply for this assistance any time. Application： Application forms are available at city-run elementary and junior high schools and at Gakumu-ka. The forms can also be downloaded from the city website. ◇AGA Japanese Classes
Japanese language volunteers will teach on a one-on-one basis. Tuesday Class： September 3 ～ December 3 (11 times in total) 10：00 ～ 11：30 a.m. at MITSUI KINZOKU Ageo Community Center (Community Center). Wednesday Class： September 4 ～ December 11 (14 times in total) 7：00 ～ 8：30 p.m. at Ageo Kominkan. For： international residents, elementary school children or older, living in Ageo. Cost： 2,000 yen as an annual fee for individual members. Number： 10 people per class (first-come basis).
