■Hello everyone at Shichikashuku!
I hope you are enjoying the cherry blossoms and the weather warming up this spring. I am moving on from the ALT position herein Shichikashuku. It has been a wonderful time being accepted within the schools, and writing these columns. I am blessed to have been a part of the schools and experienced the kindness of all the Teachers, Students and Parents I have met during my time here. It has been a great time teaching English and I hope those who have graduated get to achieve their goals and dreams.
Exploring Japan in my free time has given me an appreciation for road trips and other sightseeing activities. I enjoyed わらじで歩こう. I’ll cherish the memories of my time here and the little moments I experienced with people, such as playing and listening to music with some teachers. As you may have known, I love foxes, they are very cute and fluffy. The first thing I did was go to Kitsune Mura when I arrived in Shiroishi, and it was one of the last things I have done as well. I’ll be honest I didn’t want to stop holding the fox. さらばShichikashuku. May you all have an exciting and good Year!

■七ヶ宿の皆さんこんにちは!
桜の開花と暖かくなった春を楽しんでいることを願っております。私は七ヶ宿のALTの職から離れることになりました。学校に受け入れられ、この記事を執筆するのは素晴らしい時間でした。私は学校の一員になれたこと、そしてここで出会ったすべての教員、生徒、保護者の優しさを経験できたことを幸運に思います。英語を教えるのは素晴らしい時間でした。卒業した人たちが目標や夢を達成できることを願っています。
自由な時間に日本を旅することで、ドライブやその他の観光を楽しむことができました。わらじで歩こうは楽しかったです。ここで過ごした思い出や、先生達と音楽を演奏したり聴いたりしたことなど、人々と経験した時間を大切にしたいと思います。ご存知かもしれませんが、私はキツネが大好きです。キツネはとても可愛くてふわふわしています。白石に来て最初に行ったのがキツネ村で、それが最後に行ったところの一つでもあります。正直に言うと、キツネを抱くのをやめたくなかったです。さらば七ヶ宿。皆さんにとって素晴らしい年になりますように!
