吉備中央町では、外国語指導助手(ALT)の先生2名を再任用し、新しく1名の方をアメリカから迎えました。ゾーイさんは8月下旬から町内の小・中学校に勤務しています。

Hello Kibichuo-cho!
My name is Zoë Blazzard and I’ll be living and teaching English here for a year. I just turned 23 on August 7th and this is my second time living here in Japan.
I’m from a small city called Gloucester, Massachusetts in the United States. Gloucester is on a small island, so living in the mountains is a big change for me!
My favorite foods are omurice and mitarashi dango and I love onsens and shrines.
My favorite movie is My Neighbor Totoro by Studio Ghibli and my favorite anime is Demon Slayer.
I’m so excited to live here, teach English, and get to know everyone during my year here.

吉備中央町の皆さん、こんにちは!
私の名前はゾーイ・ブラザードです。吉備中央町に住み、学校で英語を教えます。8月7日に23歳になったばかりで、日本に住むのは2度目です。
私は、アメリカのマサチューセッツ州にあるグロスターという小さな町の出身です。グロスターは小さな島にあるので、山の中で暮らすのは私にとって大きな変化です!
私の好きな食べ物は、オムライスとみたらし団子で、温泉と神社が大好きです。
私の好きな映画は、スタジオジブリのとなりのトトロで、好きなアニメは、鬼滅の刃です。
ここに住み、英語を教え、皆さんと知り合うのがとても楽しみです。
