Hello everyone! I will be returning to America soon. This will be my last article for the Asagiri
Town Newsletter.
During my time in Asagiri, I have made many amazing memories. I got to experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony and visit temples and shrines during the New Year’s holiday. In addition,like many Assistant Language Teachers, I learned calligraphy. It was also very special for me to participate in activities here in Japan with the students such as planting rice and mochitsuki.
I am grateful for the time I spent in this town. Thank you very much for this past year!

みなさん、こんにちは!私はもうすぐアメリカに帰国します。これが広報あさぎりの最後の記事になります。
あさぎり町にいる間に、たくさんの素晴らしい思い出ができました。伝統的な日本の茶道を体験したり、年末年始にお寺や神社に行ったりしました。他にも、多くのALT(外国語指導助手)がしているように、私も書道を習いました。また、田植えや餅つきのような学校行事に小学生と一緒に参加したことも、私にとってはとても特別なことでした。
この町で過ごせたことを感謝しています。この1年間ありがとうございました!
