■みなさん、どんな春をお過ごしですか?
What do you like to do in Spring? Since moving to Japan, I like to spend my afternoons outside. I have been going on many walks along the Kuma River and admiring all of the flowers! Especially living in Asagiri, I can see the mountains and beautiful scenery everyday. ：) I have also been taking many trips in my free time to Kumamoto City, Kagoshima, and Miyazaki. After the cold, dark winter it feels great to spend time outside with friends! If anyone has any recommendations for places to visit next, please let me know!
The new school year has started, and I got to attend my first entrance ceremony for the first grade students at Menda Elementary school. I recognized many of the students from my nursery schools, and I am very happy to teach them again this year. I also attended the graduation ceremony at Menda, and got to say goodbye to the sixth grade students – have fun in the Junior High School!
I am so excited for all of the new students! Let’s all do our best together!

皆さん、こんにちは!
皆さんは、春に何をするのが好きですか?私は、日本に引っ越して来てから、午後に外で過ごすことが好きです。よく散歩に出かけて球磨川沿いを歩きながら花たちを愛でています。特にあさぎり町は山々や美しい景色を毎日見ることができます。また、時間がある時には熊本市内や、鹿児島、宮崎などいろいろ旅行しました。寒く暗い冬が終わり、外で友達と過ごす時間は最高です!どなたか私が次に行けそうなおすすめの場所を知っていたら是非、教えてくださいね!
新学期が始まりましたね。私は免田小学校で初めて1年生の入学式に出席しました。多くの生徒たちが私が教えていた保育園の子供たちだと気づき、今年またその子たちを教えることができるのをとても嬉しく思います。そして同じく免田小学校で卒業式にも出席し、6年生のみんなを送り出すことができました。-中学校生活を楽しんでね!
新しい生徒たちを迎えるのがとても楽しみです。みんな一緒に頑張りましょう!
