■Niagara’s Fall(ナイアガラの滝)

Dear Showa Village’s residents, let me tell you about my last family road trip in Canada before coming to Japan.
My family has a tradition of doing at least one road trip a year.
When we learned that I was going to go live in Japan at the end of the summer, we knew that we needed to have one last big trip.
We decided to go to Niagara’s Falls.
Niagara’s falls is a group of three tall and large waterfalls.
It spans the border between Canada and the United States of America (USA).
On the Canadian side these falls are situated in the province of Ontario.
So, we drove from Quebec, the eastern province of Canada to Ontario, Quebec’s western neighbour.
western The trip between the two places took 7h by car.
In Niagara Falls you can go and see the beautiful and magnificent waterfalls.
At night the waterfalls are illuminated which gives them an enchanting look.
It is really something incredible standing in Canadian ground and having the United States on the other side of the waterfalls.
There are various delicious restaurants from all around the world.
There are attraction parks and arcades for families to enjoy and have fun.
My family and I had a lot of fun and longlasting memories there.
Even my dog “Logan” was very happy and took a lot of pleasure being the center of attention everywhere we went.

昭和村の皆様、私が日本に来る前に行った最後のカナダでの家族旅行についてお話しさせていただきます。
私の家族は少なくとも年に1回ロードトリップをする恒例行事があります。
夏の終わりに私が日本に住むことが決まった時、最後にもう一度大きな旅行をする必要があると思い、私たちはナイアガラの滝に行くことにしました。
ナイアガラの滝は、高くて大きな3つの滝が集まったものです。
カナダとアメリカ合衆国(USA)の国境にまたがっています。
カナダ側では、これらの滝はオンタリオ州にあります。そこで私たちはカナダ東部のケベック州からケベック州の西隣のオンタリオ州まで車で向かいました。
移動は車で7時間かかりました。
ナイアガラの滝では、美しく雄大な滝を見ることができます。
夜には滝がライトアップされ、幻想的な表情を見せてくれます。
カナダの大地に立って、滝の向こう側にアメリカがあるというのは、本当に信じられないことです。
そこには、世界各地の様々な美味しいレストランがあります。
家族連れが楽しめるアトラクションパークやゲームセンターもあります。
家族と私は、ずっと心に残る楽しい思い出がたくさん出来ました。
愛犬「ローガン」も大満足で、どこに行っても注目の的になることがとても楽しそうでした。
