■Summer in Canada(カナダの夏)

Dear Showa Village, let me tell you about summer in Canada.
There are many festivals that take place over the summer and people like going and enjoying the festivities dancing, drinking and singing.
One of my favorites are the “Grand-feux Loto Québec” which are fireworks presented by different countries twice a week for four weeks in August.
you could bring a blanket and lay it over at parc Jean Drapeau in Montreal and have a pleasant time with your family watching the fireworks enjoying the music played alongside the fireworks and enjoying snacks and drinks.
I would bring my dog to these nights and have him wear ear cover for dogs so that the noise doesn’t affect him.
Also, In Canada is very common for people to go on road trips.
Specially in Quebec people love going to road trips in the forest and enjoy camping every summer at national parcs.
It is fun to enjoy nature and experience the wildlife around our forests and meadows.
Summer is supposed to last for 3 months from June to august. However, Canadians say that we only have 1 month if not 15 days of summer per year because June is still very cold and in August it grows colder.
Those road trips are the perfect excuse to stop by the restaurants and food stands along the side of the road and enjoy the local food.
The more you close to the coastal line of Quebec the dishes will include seafood and different types of fish local to the area.

昭和村の皆さん、カナダの夏についてお話ししましょう。
カナダの夏はたくさんのお祭りが開催され、人々は踊ったり、飲んだり、歌ったりしてお祭りを楽しみます。

特にケベック州の人々は森の中をドライブするのが好きで、毎年夏になると国立公園でキャンプを楽しみます。
森や草原で自然を満喫し、野生動物を観察するのは楽しいものです。
夏は6月から8月までの3ヶ月間続くと言われていますが、カナダ人に言わせると、6月はまだとても寒く、8月になるとさらに寒くなるので、1年に15日とは言わないまでも、1ヶ月しか夏はないのだそうです。
こうしたドライブ旅行は、道沿いのレストランや屋台に立ち寄って地元の料理を楽しむ絶好の機会となります。
ケベック州の海岸線に近づくにつれ、料理にはシーフードや地元のさまざまな種類の魚が使われたものになります。
