■英語スピーチコンテストに参加
Hello Gojome,
Thank you for all the kindness and care you have shown me over the last month.
I have truly enjoyed meeting and getting to know the students, teachers,and staff at the elementary and junior high schools.
The students are very smart and talented. We had two junior high students attend the recent English Speech Contest and they both did incredible.One of them even won 3rd place! The teachers and staff are also friendly and welcoming.
They make me excited to work as hard as they do for this town and the students.
I am proud to be here and happy to tell people in America how great this town is!
I have enjoyed meeting the ALTs who work in the nearby towns as well.
Please continue to say hi to me if you see me around town.

この1ヶ月間、優しく気遣っていただきありがとうございます。小・中学校の生徒たちや先生方、職員の方々と出会えて本当に楽しかったです。
生徒たちはとても賢くて才能があります。先日の英語スピーチコンテストには、2人の中学生が参加し、どちらも素晴らしい成績を収めました。そのうちの1人は3位になりました!先生方も職員の方々もフレンドリーで、私を歓迎してくれました。
彼らのおかげで、私はこの町と生徒たちのために一生懸命働くことができます。
私はここにいることを誇りに、そしてアメリカの人たちにこの町のすばらしさを伝えられることを嬉しく思います。近隣で働いているALTたちにも会うことができて楽しかったです。
これからも町で私を見かけたら、声をかけてくださいね。
