■イースターってしってますか?
Hello Gojome town,
Winter is leaving, so I went snowboarding for the final time. It’s very difficult, but lots of fun!
Recently, I have been thinking a lot about Easter. In the UK, Christmas and Easter are the two most important events of the year. Easter is a traditional Christian holiday, but in the UK people of all
religions celebrate it! We usually celebrate it in spring. We have an “Easter egg hunt.”Little chocolate eggs are hidden outside, and children and families have to find
them! We also eat a delicious fruit bun called a “hot cross bun.” The cross on the bun represents the Christian cross.
April feels like a season for new
beginnings, so I am looking forward to the new school year, new activities and new flowers in Spring! What do you want to do in this season?

冬が終わりかけ、最後のスノーボードに行ってきました。スノーボードはとても難しかったですが楽しかったです!
最近、イースター※についていろいろと考えています。イギリスでは、クリスマスとイースターは1年の中で最も重要なイベントです。イースターは伝統的なキリスト教徒の祝日ですが、イギリスでは他の宗教の人も皆お祝いをします。通常は春にお祝いをし、「イースターエッグハント」を行います。小さな卵型のチョコレートが外に隠されており、子どもたちや家族が見つけ出すイベントです。また、「ホットクロスバン」という、果物が入ったパンを食べたりもします。
4月は新しい物事の始まりを感じる季節なので、新学期や、春のイベントやお花が楽しみです!皆さんはこの季節、何をしてみたいですか。
※イースター：「復活祭」。イエス・キリストの復活を祝う行事。
