■五城目の皆さん、はじめまして!

Hello Gojome-machi!
My name is Michealea Lemons and I am the new Assistant Language Teacher. I am happy for you to call me Michealea(ma-shay-la).
I am from Tacoma, Washington, in the United States. I was born and raised in Texas and Louisiana, then moved to Washington when I was 11.
This is my first time in Japan and I’m excited to be here in Gojome and the Akita Prefecture. I don’t know much Japanese but am looking forward to learning the language and culture.
I’ve begun working at the elementary and junior high school. I love working with kids and helping them work hard to grow strong at their studies and in life.

新しい外国語指導助手(ALT)のマシェイラ・レモンズです。「マシェイラ」と呼んでいただけたら嬉しいです。アメリカ合衆国ワシントン州のタコマから来ました。テキサス州とルイジアナ州で生まれ育ち、その後、11歳の時にワシントン州に引っ越してきました。日本に来るのは今回が初めてで、秋田県そして五城目での生活にワクワクしています。日本についてあまり知りませんが、言葉や文化を学ぶことが楽しみです。いよいよ、小中学校での仕事が始まりました。子どもたちと一緒に仕事をすることや、勉強や生活でたくましく成長するために、彼らが一生懸命にがんばるところを手助けすることが大好きです。親切に迎えていただきありがとうございます。町で私を見かけたら、挨拶したり、手を振ったりしてください!
