Hello, it’s Diego!
On April 23rd (tue), I took off early from work and drove 2.5 hours to Hirosaki to see the cherry blossoms. The day before, I saw that the weather would be perfect. I also only have classes until 11am on Tuesdays. These factors aligning led me to making such a spontaneous trip. Weather is fickle so you just have to go for it when the sun is out. The cherry blossoms on the castle grounds were beautiful and they were totally worth the trip. The grounds weren’t too crowded because it was a weekday but the place still had many tourists from overseas. How about you? Did you travel anywhere to see the cherry blossoms this spring?

4月23日(火)、仕事を早めに切り上げ、車で2時間半かけて弘前まで桜を見に行きました。天気が良くなりそうなことと、火曜日は午前11時までしか授業がないことが重なり、弾丸旅行を決行しました。天気は気まぐれだから、天気が良いときに行くしかありません。弘前城の敷地内の桜はとても綺麗で見に行ったかいがありました。平日ということもあり、敷地内はそれほど混雑していませんでしたが、海外からの観光客がたくさんいました。皆さんはどうですか?この春、どこかへ桜を見に行きましたか?
