Hello everyone!
I’m so happy that it is fi nally warm outside!
I love spring because of all the beautiful flowers!
I especially love all of the cherry blossoms and shibazakura everywhere.
Before coming to Hokkaido,I had never even heard of shibazakura, but now it is definitely one of my favorite plants!
I can’t believe it’s already my second spring living in Japan!
I’m very excited to travel aroundHokkaido during golden week.
I hope that I can see a lot of cherry blossoms! This year, I want toexplore different parks in Asahikawa, and have a few hanami picnics withmy friends.
I am also very excited for the flower festivals that are happening soon!
I want to go to the Sapporo lilac festival at the end of this month. At my house in America, there are two lilac bushes in my backyard that my mom planted when she was a teenager. My sister and I used to play hide andseek in them a lot when we were little.

皆さんこんにちは!
ようやく暖かくなってきたので、とても嬉しいです!春はきれいな花がたくさんあるので大好きです!特に私は桜と芝桜が大好きです。北海道に来るまで芝桜のことは聞いたこともありませんでしたが、今では私のお気に入りの植物の一つです。
もう日本に住んで2回目の春だなんて信じられません!ゴールデンウィークは北海道各地を旅行することがとても楽しみです。たくさんの桜を見たいです!今年は、旭川の色々な公園へ行き、友達とお花見ピクニックをしたいです。
もうすぐ開催されるフラワーフェスティバルもとても楽しみです。今月末はさっぽろライラックまつりに行きたいです。アメリカの実家の裏庭には、母が10代のときに植えたライラックの木が2本あります。小さい頃、姉と私はよくその中でかくれんぼをしました。
