皆さん、こんにちは!皆さんはどのように夏を楽しみましたか?
私にとってこれが初めての北海道での夏でした。オーストラリアでは夏は非常に暑くて乾燥していますのでここでの雨の多さや蒸し暑さに驚きました。
最近は、北海道で初めてのお祭りを楽しむことができたことがとても印象的でした。旭川を歩いていたら、さんろく祭りを行っているところに出くわしました!お祭りの期間中、街を歩き回るのは本当に楽しかったです。光景、香り、音楽を楽しむことが出来ました。
お祭りでパフォーマーの演奏を見た際、私の日本語はあまり上手ではありませんので言葉を完全に理解することは出来ませんでしたが、パフォーマンスに多くのエネルギーを注いでいましたのですごく楽しめました!また、お祭りで唐揚げ、焼き鳥、たこ焼きを食べましたが、とてもおいしく日本が提供する屋台の料理は素晴らしいと思いました。
最近、恵庭までドライブしましたが北海道の景色は息をのむほど美しく、丘や田園地帯をドライブすることでとてもリラックスできました!
新しい場所を旅行するのが大好きで、古い町や寺院を探索するのがとても好きですので、もし北海道でどこかいい場所を知っている方がいらっしゃいましたら、教えていただけると嬉しいです。もし街で私に会ったら、ぜひ日本や世界中で訪れた場所についてお話ししましょう!

Hello everyone! How did you enjoy your summer? This has been my first summer in Hokkaido! I was very surprised by how much it rains, in Australia our summers are very hot and very dry. Recently I was able to experience my first festival in Hokkaido.
I was walking around Asahikawa when I came across the San Roku Festival! It was so much fun exploring the streets during the festival. I enjoyed the sights, smells and sounds. I think Japan has some of the best street food I have ever tasted. I was able to eat fried chicken, yakitori and takoyaki at the festival. I also enjoyed listening to the performers.
Even though my Japanese is not very good and I couldn’t understand all the words, it was fun listening to the music. The performers put so much energy into their performances! I recently drove to Ebetsu. It was such a wonderful drive. The scenery here in Hokkaido is so breathtaking! I loved driving through the hills and countryside. It felt so relaxing.
If you know of any good places to visit here in Hokkaido, please let me know. I love traveling to new places, and finding old towns and temples to explore is so interesting for me. If you see me around town, please come and tell me about places you’ve traveled to in Japan or around the world!
