■My first Golden Week
What did you do during the golden week?
Did you travel somewhere? Or did you just stay at home?
Spending the holiday by relaxing at home is precious to most people. And, I can somehow say that I’m one of them.
Most of the time, I choose to enjoy a week-long break by staying at home. It feels good to have my movie list and some snacks to indulge in for hours. Watching TV series and movies are my happy pills.
Here are some of the films I watched last week；
“Champions” – is an American sports comedy film. This is about a temperamental minor-league basketball coach who got arrested and must coach a team of players with intellectual disabilities as community service.
“Kill Boksoon” – is a Korean action and adventure film about a single mother and hired killer who struggles to find the balance between her personal and work life.
“Duty after School” – It’s a Korean TV series about the seniors at Seongjin High who were chosen to fight against the attack of a mysterious creature that covered the sky.
If you like TV series and movies like me, you can check these films and give it a try.
I hope everyone will have an amazing time during the golden week. Do not forget to recharge and unwind every once in a while. Cheers to maintaining work-life balance!

■私のはじめてのゴールデンウィーク
ゴールデンウィークには何をしましたか?
どこかへ旅行に行きましたか?それとも家でゆっくり過ごしましたか?
休日を家でくつろいで過ごすのは、ほとんどの人にとって貴重です。そして、なんとなく、私はその中の一人だと言えると思います。
一週間の休暇があるとしたら、ほとんど毎回、家で楽しく過ごすことを選びます。お菓子を食べながら好きな映画数本に何時間も没頭することは気分がいいです。テレビドラマと映画を観るのが私の幸せの特効薬です。
先週観た映画の中からいくつかを紹介します。
“だれもが愛しいチャンピオン”はアメリカのスポーツコメディー映画です。この映画は、逮捕された気性の激しいマイナーリーグのバスケットボールチームのコーチが、社会奉仕活動として知的障害のある選手達のチームのコーチをしなければならなくなったというお話です。
“キル・ボクスン”は韓国のアクション・アドベンチャー映画で、プライベートと仕事に奮闘するシングルマザーで雇われ殺し屋のお話です。
“放課後戦争活動”は韓国のシリーズもののテレビドラマで、空を覆う謎の生物の攻撃に立ち向かうため選ばれたソンジン高校の三年生を扱ったものです。
もし、私のようにテレビドラマや映画が好きでしたら、先に挙げた映画を調べて、観てみてください。
私は、みなさんが、ゴールデンウィーク中に素晴らしいひと時を過ごしていただきたいと思います。時にはリフレッシュとリラックスすることを忘れないでください。
