■Happy New Year!
It is 2024! あけましておめでとうございます! I hope everyone will have a wonderful new year, and may this year treatyou well. I am grateful to experience a Traditional Japanese New Year celebration in Nakagawa. I enjoy trying new food, so learning while eating the New Year dishes was fun. My favorite dishes were the Kazunoko 数の子, Kuromame 黒豆, and Ozoni お雑煮.
In America, it is a big party night. TV stations broadcast the live music performances at New York’s Times Square Ball Drop and the fireworks at midnight. Families and friends gather at a New Year party to share a toast with champagne or sparkling apple cider to wish everyone a Happy New Year. A common tradition for couples is to share a New Year’s Kiss at midnight to have a special moment with each other.

2024年です!あけましておめでとうございます!皆様にとって素晴らしい新年をお迎えのことと思いますが、本年もよろしくお願いいたします。中川で日本の伝統的な新年のお祝いを体験できたことに感謝しています。私は新しい食べ物に挑戦するのが好きなので、おせちを食べながら学ぶのは楽しかったです。私のお気に入りの料理は数の子、黒豆、お雑煮です。
アメリカでは元日の夜は盛大なパーティーをします。テレビ局はニューヨークのタイムズスクエア・ボールドロップでの音楽ライブパフォーマンスや真夜中の花火を放送します。家族や友人が新年パーティーに集まり、シャンパンやスパークリングアップルサイダーで乾杯し、新年のお祝いをします。カップルの一般的な伝統として、真夜中に新年のキスをしてお互いの特別な瞬間を過ごします。
