The 5th graders at the elementary school have started to learn about Japanese culture　and traditions in English. Japanese culture has spread globally across many other countries.You can especially find Japanese food in other countries, including America, as well as　Russia. The students have learned that in America, sushi is a popular Japanese food. You can　find sushi restaurants in many places around America. Although nigiri sushi is not as　common, many restaurants serve sushi rolls. One famous sushi roll is the California roll. The　California roll is made with avocado and cucumbers.
Udon noodles are a popular Japanese food in Russia because it is such a cold country.Although you can find Japanese-style udon noodles at restaurants, one popular udon　noodle dish is cheese udon. Cheese udon is a bowl of noodles and broth, sprinkled with　powdered cheese on top. Next time you have some udon, would you like to try it with　cheese? I’m interested in how it tastes!

小学校5年生が、英語で日本の文化や伝統について学び始めました。日本の文化は世界中に広がっています。特に日本食は、アメリカやロシアなど他の国でも見られます。生徒たちはアメリカではお寿司が人気のある日本食であることを知りました。寿司屋さんはアメリカ中のいろんなところにあります。握り寿司はあまり一般的ではありませんが、巻き寿司を出す店が多いです。有名な巻き寿司はカリフォルニア・ロールです。カリフォルニア・ロールはアボカドとキュウリで作られています。
ロシアではとても寒い国なのでうどんは人気のある日本食です。日本風のうどんはお店で売っていますが、人気のうどんの一つにチーズうどんがあります。チーズうどんは丼に麺と出汁が入り、その上に粉チーズをまぶしたものです。今度うどんを食べたら、チーズと一緒に食べてみませんか?僕はチーズうどんの味が気になります!
