■市房山へ
Hello everyone! I love living in Asagiri surrounded by beautiful mountains.One weekend, I was invited to climb Mt. Ichifusa. This was the tallest, steepest,and most difficult mountain I’ve ever climbed. Not to mention it took the longest! The climb up took about 3.5 hours, and the climb down took 2 hours. I was exhausted! But being able to stand at the very top of Mt. Ichifusa and view the whole Kuma valley was deeply moving. Knowing that this is the place I live, where all of my students live, nearly brought me to tears. We are all in each other’s lives for a short while, isn’t it a blessing that we all got to meet?

こんにちはみなさん!私は、美しい山々に囲まれたあさぎり町の暮らしが大好きです。ある週末、市房山に登ろうと誘われました。市房山は私が登った山の中で一番高く、急な斜面で、最も大変でした。言うまでもなく一番長時間にわたる登山になりました!登頂に3時間半、下山に2時間かかりました。くたくたになりましたが、市房山の頂上に立ち、球磨盆地を見渡すことができたのは感動的でした。今、私はここに暮らし、生徒みんなもこの場所で共に生活を営んでいる…そう思ったら涙があふれてきそうでした。私たちは互いの人生の中のほんのわずかな時間しか共に生きれないけれど、こうして出会えたことは祝福だと思いました。そう思いませんか?
