皆さん、こんにちは!イギリス出身のジョシュアです!現在、さぬき市でALTとして働いています。

I would like to share with you an important part of British culture.
今日は、イギリスにおける重要な文化を皆さんと共有したいと思います。

Afternoon tea is a cherished tradition of rest and relaxation.
Friends and family get together to enjoy a pot of black tea and eat snacks.
アフタヌーンティーは、休息とくつろぎのために大切にされてきた習慣です。
友達や家族が集まって紅茶を楽しみ、お菓子を食べます。

In the UK, it is customary to drink black tea with a splash of milk and maybe some sugar, which gives the tea a smooth taste.
イギリスでは、紅茶にミルクと砂糖を入れて飲む習慣があり、紅茶の味がなめらかになります。

Sandwiches are often eaten with the tea. Sometimes, we eat sweet things like sponge cake or fruit tarts!
紅茶を飲むときは、サンドイッチを食べるのが一般的です。スポンジケーキやフルーツタルトのような甘いものを食べることもあります!
