文化 国際交流通信 Vol.30

8月25日～26日にかけて出張に行きました。初日の目的地は、旭川市の国際交流センターです。シンガポール・アメリカ出身の国際交流員2人と、イベント開催や異文化推進について貴重なアイデア交換ができました。
2日目は、東川町の「せんとぴゅあ」を訪問しました。そこではニセコ町の約2倍、11人の国際交流員が勤務しています。お互いに業務を紹介し、改善の余地がある点について一緒に検討しました。さまざまなアイデアにあふれ、より一層楽しいイベントが開催できそうです!

From August 25th to 26th, the CIRs went on a business trip! Our first destination was the Asahikawa International Center. We met with the two CIRs there, one from Singapore and another one from the US. We exchanged valuable ideas about hosting events and promoting cultural exchange.
On the second day, we visited the “CentPure” library in Higashikawa Town. Currently, there are 11 CIRs working in the town, nearly twice as many as in Niseko Town. We introduced our work to each other and discussed areas for improvement. Everyone returned home, full of ideas for new events.
