文化 HELLO! Jessica (ジェシカです!)

Hello everyone,
Spring is my favorite season, and this year I get to share it with my boyfriend, Justus, who is visiting from Montana in the United States for the fi rst time. Because spring is so much later in Hokkaido, we were able to see some beautiful cherry blossoms and hike around snowy Asahidake in the same day! It was a lot of fun. Justus is a fi lm photographer, and he loves taking pictures of the beautiful nature and interesting places here. We also went to Tokyo, Kamakura and Tochigi with our friend who lives in Fukushima and saw a beautiful fl ower festival together. But we got very wet in a heavy rainstorm in Kamakura even though we brought umbrellas. Luckily, that did not stop us from enjoying our trip and seeing many interesting places and eating delicious food. However, Justus and I both agree that sushi is best in Hokkaido.

皆さん、こんにちは!春は私の一番好きな季節です。今年は、アメリカのモンタナ州から初めて日本へ訪れてくれた、彼氏のジャスタスと一緒に春を過ごしました。北海道の春は比較的に遅く、美しい桜を見たり、雪に覆われた旭岳をハイキングしたり、とても楽しかったです。ジャスタスは普段カメラマンをやっていて、美しい自然や興味深い
場所の写真を撮ることが大好きです。
また、福島に住む友人と合流し、一緒に東京や鎌倉、栃木へも行き、美しい花まつりへ参加しました。鎌倉では大雨が降り、傘を持って行ったにもかかわらず、びしょ濡れになってしまいました。幸い、それでも私たちは旅行を楽しむことができ、たくさんの興味深い場所を見学して、おいしい料理を食べることができました。なかでも、私とジャスタスは北海道のお寿司が最高だということで意見が一致しました。
