子育て 新しいALT ハンナ先生のご紹介

新しいALT(外国語指導助手)として「ハンナ先生」が着任しました。ハンナ先生は主に幼稚園と小学校の英語学習をサポートします!

■ハンナ先生からのメッセージ
Hello! My name is Hannah Seiler, and I’m from North Carolina in the United States of America. I’ve come
to Rausu as the new ALT for kindergarten and elementary school, and I’m super excited to be here! I’ve already met so many kind people and seen some of the most beautiful nature in the world. I’m super interested in Japanese shrines and temples, my favorite food is sushi (yes, I LOVE raw fi sh), and my favorite band is the Beatles! I also enjoy watching anime and collecting fi gurines. I really love to cook, so I’mlooking forward to learning how to make delicious foods with the local ingredients. So far I’ve loved seeing all the wildlife here；I’ve always had a soft spot for all sorts of animals, even things like spiders and snakes!
I can’t wait to get involved with the community here and take part in local traditions! I’m very friendly, so please don’t hesitate to come over and talk to meif you see me. If I come off as shy, it’s only because my Japanese is not very good, but I’m currently studying to get better! I look forward to meeting everyone, and thank you so much for welcoming me to your beautiful town.

こんにちは!ハンナ・サイラーです。アメリカ合衆国ノースカロライナ州出身です。羅臼町の幼稚園と小学校の新しいALTとして赴任し、とてもワクワクしています!すでにたくさんの親切な方々に出会い、世界で最も美しい自然を見てきました。日本の神社やお寺にとても興味があり、好きな食べ物はお寿司(そう、生魚が大好きなんです!)、そして好きなバンドはビートルズです!アニメを見たり、フィギュアを集めたりするのも好きです。料理も大好きなので、地元の食材を使った美味しい料理の作り方を学ぶのが楽しみです。ここの野生動物を見るのが大好きです。クモやヘビなど、あらゆる種類の動物が好きです!
コミュニティに参加して、伝統行事に参加するのが待ちきれません!とてもフレンドリーなので、見かけたら気軽に話しかけてください。私が少し恥ずかしがり屋に見えるのは、私の日本語があまり上手ではないからです。今、もっと上手になるために勉強中です!皆さんにお会いできるのを楽しみにしています。この美しい街に迎え入れてくださり、本当にありがとうございます。
