▽Watermelon from Wakayama !
My relative who lives in Wakayama sent me a watermelon! Growing up, I loved fruit and I still love fruit to this day. But the one fruit that I didn’t care about was watermelon. I always thought it didn’t have very much flavour and it wasn’t very sweet. It almost just tasted like water. But, just like all the other fruits I’ve eaten in Japan, the watermelon my relative sent me was sweeter than the ones I’ve eaten in Canada. A whole watermelon is a lot for one person to eat though. I had many containers filled with watermelon. What do you think about watermelon?

和歌山に住んでいる親戚がスイカを送ってくれました!子どもの頃から果物が大好きで、今でも大好きです。でも、一つ好きになれなかった果物がスイカでした。
スイカは味も甘みもあまりないとずっと思っていました。まるで水のような味でした。でも、日本で食べた他の果物と同じように、親戚が送ってくれたスイカはカナダで食べたものよりも甘かったです。でも、一人でスイカを丸ごと1個食べるのは多すぎます。
スイカが入った容器がいくつもありました。皆さんはスイカをどう思いますか?
