■あなたの新年の抱負は何ですか?
Hello Gojome,
Happy New Year!
I can’t believe it’s 2026. It feels like 2025 only just started and it was over.
So much happened last year and I am looking forward to seeing what happens this year.
In America, we make a “New Year Resolution” every year. It’s like a promise to try and do something in the new year. My new year
resolution this year is to do more hiking around Tohoku and meet more people!
We had a Thanksgiving potluck in November. Here is a photo of people who came. I say this often,
but when I think about last year, I am once again reminded about all the amazing people I have met in Japan.

もう2026年だなんて信じられません。2025年が始まってすぐに、過ぎ去ったような感覚です。昨年は本当に沢山のことがあったので、今年も何が起きるか楽しみです。
アメリカでは毎年「新年の抱負」を立てます。新年に何か挑戦することを誓うようなものです。私の今年の抱負は、東北地方をもっとハイキングして、もっと沢山の人に会うことです!
11月にThanksgivingのパーティがありました。これは、来てくれた人の写真です。度々言いますが、昨年について考えると、日本で会った素晴らしい人たちのことを改めて思い出します。
