協力隊の望月です。森町に移住して1年が経ち、皆様のおかげで楽しく活動を進めている日々です。その中でもう一つ楽しんでいるのがお家DIYリフォームです。古民家をじっくり見るのは初めてで、作った方や直した方の技術と思いが伝わってきました。基本的には一人DIYでしたが、たくさんの方にアドバイスをいただいたおかげで、一部屋完成しました。大満足です!

It’s been one year since moving to Mori and I am enjoying spending my days working on my missions.I’m also enjoying the DIY work for my house, where I get to check the Kominka up close. It was amazing to see the skills of the original carpenters and the people who worked to sustain the building all these years. My DIY is generally done alone, but thanks to the people who gave me great advice I could finish up the first room just how I wanted!
