■日本で最後の春たくさんの活動を楽しみました!
Hello Everyone! Happy end of spring!Recently,I’ve been enjoying many school events! Because this is my last year teaching in Asagiri,I have been making the most of every experience.This last year, I joined students in
visiting a dairy farm in Aso! We enjoyed petting the animals, watching a sheep race,and making our own ice cream.It was delicious! I’ve also been joining lots of activities outside of school. With the other ALTs I’ve been trying cooking classes, sports clubs like Aikido and Kendo, and I’ve been practicing calligraphy as well.
Last fall, I hiked Mt.Shiraga with Josie and Rachael. It was a little difficult, but so much fun! It was only my second time hiking in Japan, so I hope I can do more beforeI leave! My next goal is to climb Mt.Ichifusa! After such a cold and longwinter, I’ve really been enjoying spending time outside walking and hiking.I hope everyone has enjoyed the spring months!

みなさんこんにちは!もうすぐ夏だ～!
この頃、私は学校のイベントをいろいろ楽しんでいます!私があさぎり町で教えるのは今学期が最後になるので、あらゆる体験を最大限に味わいたいと思ったからです。
3学期には子供たちと一緒に阿蘇のミルク牧場に行きました。動物とふれあったり、羊のレースを見たり、アイスクリーム作りもしました。すごくおいしかったです!
学校以外でもたくさんの活動に参加しました。他のALTたちと一緒にお料理教室をしたり、合気道や剣道などのスポーツクラブを体験したり、習字も習いました。昨年の秋にはジョセフィンとレイチェルと一緒に白髪岳で登山を楽しみました。ちょっと大変だったけど、とても楽しかったです!
日本での登山はまだ二回だけなので、帰国前にもっといけたらいいなって思います。私の次の目標は市房山に登ることです!長く寒い冬の後、散歩したり登山をして野外で時間を過ごすのがとても楽しいです。みなさんも楽しい春を過ごせていますように!
