このコーナーでは、松野町のALT(外国語指導助手)の母国の文化や、松野町での日常などを紹介しています。今回はニッキ先生が「日本一周旅行」について紹介します。

[Traveling around Japan]
It seems like no matter where I go in Shikoku, the scenery is gorgeous. I love being in nature, and as the weather warms up I try to be outside more often than not. Last year I went Kayaking a few times, and hiking often. I also went swimming in Shimantogawa, and canyoning in Nametoko. I went to Meguro with some friends to see the fireflies, too! Ohio also has fireflies, and it made me feel like I was home.
This year I plan to go camping often. I’m going camping with my friends in Onogahara during golden week to see the stars, and then I plan to climb Mt. Onigajyo after. There is also a zipline place about an hour north-east of Matsuno that I’m hoping to check out!
I want to visit more of Japan this year too. I’m hoping to travel to Hokkaido in the Summer, and Sendai in the fall. Maybe Okinawa in the winter if I am able.
I’m truly humbled by the beauty of Japan. I am very lucky to be here, and I want to experience as much of it as I can.

四国はどこに行っても景色が素晴らしいですね。私は自然が好きなので、暖かくなってくると外にたくさん出かけるようにしています。去年はカヤックに何度か行ったり、ハイキングにもよく行きました。四万十川で泳いだり、滑床でキャニオニングをしたりもしました。友達と目黒にホタルを見に行ったこともあります!オハイオ州にもホタルがいるので、故郷に帰ったような気分になりました。
今年はキャンプに何度か行く予定です。ゴールデンウィークには友達と大野ヶ原の星空観察キャンプに行って、その後は鬼ヶ城に登る予定です。また、松野から北東に1時間くらい行ったところにジップラインを体験できる場所もあるみたいなので、ぜひ行ってみたいと思っています!
今年も日本をもっと巡りたいと思っています。夏は北海道、秋は仙台に行きたいです。冬は、もし可能であれば沖縄にも行きたいです。
日本の美しさには本当に感動しました。ここに来られたことは本当に幸運です。できる限り多くのことを体験したいと思っています。
