Hello everyone! This is your ALT Conner!
みなさん、こんにちは。ALTのコナーです。
It is good to be back in Imabetsu. By the time this article is published, I should be back from my trip to the United States. This is my first time returning to my home country since I came to Imabetsu in 2023. The United States has changed a lot since I left, but the people I love are still there, so I was happy to see them again. Plus, I got to eat delicious American food. Ahh… my beloved Macaroni and Cheese… nostalgia
今別に戻ってきてよかったです。この記事が公開される頃には、アメリカ旅行から帰ってきているはずです。2023年に今別に来て以来、初めての母国への帰省です。アメリカは私が去った時からずいぶん変わりましたが、私にとって大切な人たちは今もそこにいるので、また会えて嬉しかったです。それに、美味しいアメリカ料理も食べられました。ああ…大好きなマカロニ・チーズ…懐かしい
But that’s enough talk about America. It’s August in Imabetsu, and you know what that means… Rasse-ra!
It’s time for Arama Festival! I’m very excited to join this year’s festival. If you look carefully during the parade, you may see me pushing the Nebuta. I got to help push the nebuta last year, so I’m excited to get this opportunity again. However, this year’s festival will be extra special for me, as I will be joined by a friend from Aomori City. It will be his first Arama festival, so I hope we can show off the charm of Imabetsu and the “wild horse”!
アメリカの話はこれくらいにして、今別は8月…さあ、ラッセラ!いよいよ荒馬まつりの季節です!今年のお祭りに参加できることをとても楽しみにしています。パレード中、よく見たら私がねぶたを押しているのが見えるかもしれません。去年もねぶたを押すお手伝いをさせていただいたので、またこうして参加できるのが本当に嬉しいです。でも、今年は私にとって特別なお祭りです。青森市から来た友達も一緒に参加してくれるんです。彼にとって荒馬まつりは初めてなので、今別の魅力や「荒馬」の魅力をもっともっと発信できたらいいなと思っています!
Finally, I have a special announcement about English Conversation Classes. We will be hosting a special weeklong event called the “English Movie Marathon”. From August 18th – 22nd, we will watch a new movie every day from 1 pm to 3 pm. Please feel free to join us at any time； you don’t have to join every day to
participate.
最後に、英会話について特別なお知らせがあります。8月18日から22日まで、1週間にわたる「英語映画マラソン」という特別イベントを開催します。毎日午後1時から3時まで、毎日新しい映画を鑑賞します。毎日参加する必要はありませんので、いつでもお気軽にご参加ください。
