Meeting the Namahage!～ナマハゲに会えた!～
Last month, I went with Sam to the Namahage festival in Oga city! It was a long drive to get there, but we had a great time! I enjoyed seeing the many events and learning about the Namahage. My favorite event was when the Namahage came down the mountain with torches. The Namahage are a unique part of Akita’s culture. I hope to go to more festivals in the future!
先月、サムと一緒に男鹿市のナマハゲ祭りに行ってきました!車で行くには長い道のりでしたが、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました!たくさんのイベントを見て、ナマハゲについて学ぶことができて楽しかったです。一番気に入ったのは、ナマハゲが松明(たいまつ)を持って山を下りてくるイベントです。ナマハゲは秋田の文化のユニークな部分です。今後ももっと多くの祭りに行きたいです!
